Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 on the 24th of July, 1992) is an actress from Canada. She has played Felicity as Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was born and raised within British Columbia. In order to begin her acting career, she started with musical theater and dancing with the intention of eventually being able to introduce more professional acting. After high school, she graduated early and attended the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Program. She auditioned at an open audition after having completed the program. It resulted in her being signed to an agency. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest, her rapport with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her humorous quips resulted in her first signing as a recurring co-star in the rest of the first season.
