Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at her job. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of commercials on television. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up moving to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. They were married in a civil ceremony that ended in December. They renew their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo's love affair with Lauren, played by Zoie Parker, was showcased on CNN's list of the Top Television Couples of All Time and named as E!'s Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
