Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiWith his third untitled album almost complete, Ky-mani is certainly a major star as a person in his own right. In February of 1976, Ky-mani was born to legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani refer to a traveler who is adventurous. In the sense of an East African man, his music and tours can be described as an adventure. The Journey was his first musical venture. His eclectic vision allowed him to search for his own niche, and to explore his various talents. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Kymani's "traditional" reggae single. It brought out Kymani's mature self. The Journey and Many More Roads were well accepted throughout the world, which established Ky-Mani's status as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is known by his unique mix with hip-hop, R&B mixed with contemporary jazz.
